On 9 December 2021 Sarulla Operations Ltd participated in DEN (National Energy Council) visit to Gunung Salak Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP), managed by Star Energy in Sukabumi, West Java. This visit was to discuss the supply chain for PLTP development from upstream to downstream.
The visit was chaired by DEN Member Satya Widya Yudha, attended by DEN Member Musri, Herman Darnel Ibrahim, Eri Purnomohadi, Yusra Khan, Head of the Energy Policy Facilitation and Conference Bureau Yunus Saefulhak, Deputy Director of Operations for Star Energy Suharsono Darmono, and VP Exploitation Pertamina Geothermal Imam B. Raharjo who was also attended online by the Chairman of the Indonesian Geothermal Association Prijandaru Effendi, President Director of Geo Dipa Energi Riki Ibrahim, President Director of Supreme Energy Nisriyanto, VP Geothermal Energy PLN Hendra Tondang, Sarulla Operations Chief Administration Andrea Gunawan Diliharto, representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Finance , and Sorik Marapi Geothermal Power.
The meeting aims to obtain information from stakeholders regarding the current condition of mapping the supply chain business process for geothermal utilization. On that occasion Andrea G. Diliharo as Chief Administration of Sarulla Operations Ltd addressed his opinion: “The government's role is needed to encourage geothermal development in Indonesia with new (conducive) regulations for new and renewable energy and guarantees for reasonable economic returns based on risk allocation".
