Sarulla Operations Ltd delivered its another contribution to the community through a crop diversification program, the development of ginger plants. Consistent with sustainable Princip, the assistance will not only stop with the provision of seedlings, but will continue with assistance from Sarulla and the agriculture department (PPL) for the process of care, prevention / handling of pests, to harvest. The handover of 2,750 kg of ginger seeds to 31 Satahi Sapangulaan farmer groups which was held in Simataniari Village on 2 December 2019, was attended by the Camat Secretary, BPP Pahae Julu, PPL Pahae Julu, and the Head of Simataniari Village. This assistance is a breakthrough CSR program in agriculture for Simataniari Village  where previously it was implemented for husbandry, education and health programs. In addition to provide additional income for households, it is expected that Simataniari Village will become the center of ginger seedlings.
