Repairment of Aek Hapesong Bridge in Sigurung-gurung Village

In June 2021, the repairment of the Aek Hapesong bridge in Sigurung-gurung Village, Pahae Jae district has been assisted by upgrading from a wooden bridge to an iron bridge with a length of ± 10 meters and a width of ± 4 meters. This repairment is very important, because the bridge is the main mode of access for the majority of the community, not only in Sigurung-gurung Village – but also for the people in the nearest village, Silangkitang Village. Around 80% of the people of Sigurung-gurung Village use this bridge as an access road to rice fields and fields, and it is also estimated that around 30% of the people of Silangkitang Village pass this bridge to carry out their agricultural business, where farming is the main livelihood of the people in the village.
