Initial Stage of Ginger Harvest
SOL is committed to develop an essential community with planned goals, therefore SOL designs and prioritizes CSR activities to meet the needs of local communities and to improve the lives of communities around the project area. One of them is the fostering of the "Saroha" Farmer Group in Silangkitang Village, Pahae Jae Sub-District for the development of the Ginger plant.
After completed certain process, the initial ginger harvest was carried out on October 7, 2020, although the harvest carried out by some of these farmer groups was a bit earlier than it should be due to pest disturbances, it still gave satisfactory results and able to provide additional income for the family farmers during this pandemic.
